Folloing the engines successful return from the Llangollen Railway, 42968 was in use over the weekend of 10 - 11 May for the The Seaside Specials.

42968 continued its service throughout the following week (crewed by Fund members Tony Massau and Chris Proudfoot) and had another successful weekend over 17 - 18th May, these shots being taken on 18/05/08.
