13268 to attend Greatest Gathering at Derby

The highlight of the Rail200 celebrations taking place throughout 2025 is without a doubt the Greatest Gathering event taking place at Alstom works – Litchurch Lane Derby on the 1st – 3rd August. This event will be the largest gathering of historic and modern trains in the world for a generation. A sold out event with over 37,000 tickets it will be a one of a kind event.

With over 100 rail vehicles set to attend. It is a great honour that 13268 will be in attendance, accompanied by our membership & sales stand in the exhibition area, so please pop by for a chat. The mogul will be in light steam, with the footplate open for visitors.

To add to the excitement 13268 will go to and from this event as part of the convoy of locomotives and carriages travelling from the Severn Valley Railway. Which will be the first time the Stanier Mogul has travelled on the mainline network in over 25 years.
