The ashpan repairs on 13268 reach completion and the loco is prepared for its move via road to Kidderminster in the following week. Where everyone is excited to see it back in action hauling trains and then the preparations for its journey to Derby for the Rail200 Greatest Gathering event on the 1st-3rd August.
The work on the new ashpan is is now virtually all complete. This photo shows the interior of the ashpan.
