This is the same plate temporarily bolted in place ready for drilling through into the four girders beneath.
The main part of the new vertical cross member, with the firebox support bracket clamped in place, which will replace that seen in earlier pictures of the drag box, on the radial drill prior to setting up and drilling yet more holes.
