Overhaul update

Pictures showing progress on 42968 by the volunteer
work parties. Cleaning down, removing components is
followed by examining the condition of the engine.
Finally painting items such as the front buffer beam
and buffer stocks.

In the 3rd picture you can see the angle iron which
supports the running plate had been cleaned and
primed.
